Corporate culture and employee morale are important to the leadership team at Marketo. EF worked with Marketo to develop it’s philanthropic vision, mission and strategy and to create an employee led community program that reflects the company’s culture. Additionally, EF worked with Marketo to design a product donation program to non-profit organizations so that the company’s talent and treasure are leveraged for community benefit.
The Motorola Solutions Foundation Board enlisted EF to assist with a reassessment of its focus, philanthropic benchmarking against companies reflective of its new business strategy and strategic planning for the Foundation’s mission and programs that align appropriately with the company’s direction and goals. EF is retained with Motorola Solutions Foundation to assist with ongoing needs that arise with the implementation of the new strategic plan.
As an emerging high growth technology company based in Toronto, Varicent had employee-led grassroots charitable fund raising events in place for several years. Varicent partnered with EF to develop a more cohesive, inclusive and focused program that can grow with the company, have maximum impact, is easy to implement and goes beyond fund raising to include volunteering and community partnerships. EF’s role is to also be the expert advisor to the employee team and to help with implementation of aspects of the company’s program as it is designed and rolled out.
Actelion is a US based subsidiary of a Swiss biotechnology company. Haphazard fund raising, employee volunteering and community benefit events were happening across the company and corporate leadership realized that it was time to galvanize efforts into a strategic community program. EF works with Actelion to design the company’s philanthropic mission, vision and strategy and to provide continuous expertise to the HR team that is charged with implementation and management of Actelion’s philanthropic programs.
SilverSpring Networks (SSN) desired to have a strategically focused foundation that aligned with core business goals and values. EF engaged with SSN to design the SSN Foundation’s mission, vision and goals, create a strategic plan for implementation, develop signature program criteria, organize community and green teams and to pre-fund the company’s corporate foundation with pre-IPO equity so that at the company’s IPO, the SSN Foundation will be funded for many years to come.
With more employees outside the US than in the US, Informatica was challenged to have a community engagement program that was global from day one. EF worked with Informatica to develop and implement internal and external communications to announce Informatica’s community initiatives, vet and provide information for global volunteering and giving and to manage the company’s disaster response programs.
